We love seeing all of you...really, we do. Since the sun has come out this last week, we have seen lots of old friends, and met many new ones, too.
Everyone is excited to have plants to care for again, questions to answer, and plans to make, but one of the biggest perks of the approaching season is that the dogs are out visiting again!
We've been snapping photos of the dogs that come to visit, and recording them here...take a look, just for fun, and bring your four-legged friend along on your next visit to Knollwood. (On a leash, please!)

We've been busy this winter, here on the website and in the store! If you haven't stopped by Knollwood Garden Center lately, you are in for a treat...we've been painting, re-arranging and re-decorating to make your experience even more fun, easy, and idea-packed. Stop in to get the full-blown spring feeling....

We've added a new feature to our website: follow along in pictures as we track the progress of some of our spring and summer flowers and vegetables. We'll show how we get from tiny "plugs" to the the big tomatoes and beautiful hanging baskets you expect from us....

Wow! We are thrilled about how many of you have visited our new website and left comments on our various topics! It seems that a lot of us are having challenges gardening in the shade-good to know. Look for more articles and links in the upcoming weeks to help you plan for this dilemma: how to get color and variety in a shady area.

Your comments about our seminar series are very welcome. We DO enjoy doing them, and as John said in his response, it appears some topics are timeless and we'll be sure to keep addressing them.

A note: Each topic in the blog is open for comments for two weeks from the date of it's posting. We think this will allow us to keep up with our replies, and you will still be able to read the comments and replies, well, forever. As topics "age", they move to the archives where you can find articles by date or topic of interest from the past.

A "blog" allows us to bring you frequent news items about gardening, links to great websites and stories, and (the most fun), a way for you to communicate with us and other gardeners in the community.
