Hosta-bilities
Hostas are the most well-known and well-loved perennials for the shade garden. With over 3000 registered hostas, and probably as many un-named and un-registered, there is a hosta to suit every taste. Be warned, hosta "collecting" can become an obsession, although a beautiful one to be certain!
The American Hosta Growers Association has been naming a Hosta of the Year since 1996 based on plant qualities and the members' popular vote. Knollwood Garden Center is pleased to offer many of these varities in our selection of over 70 beautiful Hostas. Miniature Hosta make a lovely addition to container gardens, and the many variagated specimens can bring a surprising amount of light and color to your shade garden.
