Winter Seeding
All of our grass seed blends are specifically mixed for our area by Green Velvet Sod Farms, and we'd be happy to answer any questions you may have!
*One Free pound of grass seed per household, no purchase necessary.
There's just no excuse to not have a healthier, better-looking lawn this spring: we haven't had weather this conducive to winter-seeding in years! One of the best, and easiest, ways I know to keep my lawn full and healthy is regular winter seeding. It may seem contrary, but applying grass seed now allows it to make good contact with the soil, a good chilling season seems to make it grow, and it is ready to germinate when the ground warms up. We can all use a little fresh air in the middle of winter, so spend an hour doing this quick and easy job and see big improvements in your lawn this spring: come talk to me and take advantage of Winter Seeding Saturday (details below)!
We're gardeners, just like you: see you soon!
